P.J. Hall signs a contract with the Houston Texans

The defensive tackle P.J. Hall didn’t wait too much to be signed after being released by the Las Vegas Raiders. The 25-years old didn’t win the Raiders’ trust for another season, but now he’s about to sign a contract with the Houston Texans. Let’s dive into this story while we prepare our new free NFL expert picks for you.

We remind you that this was some intense few days for P.J. Hall. He was about to join the Minnesota Vikings, but he failed the physical tests. Despite this, it’s now confirmed he agreed terms with the Texans.

P.J. Hall is a Texas native and this is where his football career started. He became a huge star for the Sam Houston State which allowed him to be chosen as a second pick by the Las Vegas Raiders.

Hall’s time in Vegas didn’t go entirely according to plan. One of the biggest reasons for this is Mike Mayock. He signed as a general manager of the team in 2019, but he didn’t rate P.J. Hall very high as he was not a signing of him.

Right now we don’t have the details about P.J. Hall’s deal with the Texans. We also don’t know if he actually passed the physical tests which failed him signing with the Vikings. If everything goes okay, Hall must prove to the head coach Bill O’Brien he’s still good enough to has a roster spot. We believe P.J. Hall is a talented player, but right now he deserves some luck as well.
