Breaking News: Houston Texans sacked Bill O’Brien

Bill O’Brien is no more a head coach and general manager of the Houston Texans. He spent six years with the Texans and led them to four AFC South division titles, but he had to go after a horrendous 0-4 start of the new season in the NFL. Let’s discuss these news in our free NFL expert picks for today.

Until the Texans find a new head coach, it is the associate head coach Romeo Crennel who will take over from O’Brien. Crennel is 73-years old and he has a huge experience. In the past he was head coaching in Cleveland and Kansas. His main goal would be to turn the Texans’ performances for the better – they have lost all of their four games so far in the NFL regular season.

Bill O’Brien took some really controversial decisions during the NFL pre-season. He deciced to trade the Texans’ star reciever DeAndre Hopkins in order to secure the services of the running back David Johnson. Needless to say it didn’t go too well for O’Brien and the Texans as they are currently 0-4 in the division. At the same time they are ranked last in the NFL when it comes to rushing yards per game. In each one of their four games so far Texans were unable to score more than 23 points.

What happened to the Houston Texans in these first four matches? That’s the question we are all asking ourselves at the moment. The Texans suffered defeats against the City Chiefs, the Ravens, the Steelers and the Vikings. Bill O’Brien admitted himself he needs to “coach better”, but he won’t recieve that chance anymore.

This is the story of the Bill O’Brien sacking being presented to you in our free NFL expert picks. Is this going to be the right decision for the Texans? We should wait and see.
